Cutter and Squidge {London}
03 April 2016
It looks like it’s been a while since I last shared a sweet blog post, and no time like the present to share some of my favourite recent and tasteful finds – I love food and love sharing my favourites.
Tea and indulgent cake dates are certainly the best kinda dates in my books. If you’re ever in the Central London neighbourhood and in need of a quick little sit down after all that shopping or sight-seeing – pop over to Cutter & Squidge over on Brewer Street (in Soho).
Slices of comfort…
Their signature biskies – a Biskie is a combination of a biscuit, cookie and cake layered withblight buttercream and handmade jams or caramels. And the layered cakes here all look absolutely divine, a work of art in fact and enough for you to squeal in delight over which one to choose from. You get a very large slice which can easily be shared too (sharing is caring ;). We ordered the Eton Mess, Salted Caramel and Lemon Meringue Cheesecake (layered cakes), each layer sandwiched generously with a light buttercream which had a nice texture and tasted ‘naughty’ but you felt good too. Cutter & Squidge is really just a nice, cosy cake stop to have (definitely a place mum would approve!).
