This place was recommended to me by a friend and after following on Instagram I could see why. Their cakes are painfully pretty and so much fun!

Crumbs & Doilies (C & D) are found by Cupcake Queen, Jemma Wilson aka Cupcake Jemma (from her popular Youtube channel, Cupcake Jemma). Located in Kingly Court near Carnaby Street. The brand’s style seems to be about fun, simple cakes with a difference. The moist and oh-so-flavourful cakes come in fun flavours with a menu including: Earl Grey Breakfast Cupcakes, Mojito Cupcakes and Peanut Butter & Jam Cupcakes, mother-of-all playful and chic-like cakes, appropriately named the Neopolitan Cake which is an eight-layered chocolate, vanilla and strawberry sponge extravaganza with vanilla buttercream and a chocolate drizzle!

For cupcakes on the go, they are packaged in the most inventive method I’ve ever seen – each cupcake is housed in its own very cute-clean brown box with a pastel green or yellow handle – a great example of delicious looking package. I had the Chocolate Guinness Cupcake, Keithy {an Eton Mess, both top image}, and Natasha, {Caramel Pretzel, 2nd image}. Because I’m a chocolate fiend, the Chocolate Guinness was my favourite – a moist chocolate Guinness stout sponge and topped with the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting. The sizing was perfect (not too big). These cupcakes were a great way to satisfy our sweet tooth!
