So if you think a chocolate advent calendar is as exciting as it gets, then you’re in for a real treat with the Missie’s Social Advent Calendar!
A whole month of discovering, using and supporting our local (food) neighbours! Each day in December I will be sharing something topical about the doodle I’ve shown – encouraging you to join me in being as creative as you like and telling each other about local (food) gems worth discovering on your foot step too.
There will be food gifts and surprises. Each day you will have to follow the calendar in order to know what ‘surprise’ is shared. Encouraging people to Shop Small businesses during the festive season is an important reminder that we shouldn’t forget about the smaller fellas, particularly during one of the most busiest shopping periods in the year!
Each ‘doodle’ social day hopes of starting a conversation about shopping or eating small businesses. The Social Food Calendar is a personal challenge and project I’ve created; always good to stretch myself and explore new things, and keeping the delicious conversations going with (food) friends! – if I don’t set myself challenges/project, I won’t DO IT!
