28 Days of Kindness (Day 7)
08 February 2014
For those who haven’t been following my #28DaysOfKindness message, the month of February sees me sharing a gift of kindness at least once a day and to never give to receive. Aiming to do what I can with what I have – of course being kind is something we should act on daily but this project is purely to spread a valuable message and hopes to give you ideas too. So let’s spread a bit of kindness, shall we?….
Supporting Local Giving
Giving back to the community via what I do (expertise resources), monetary contributions, collaboration with local businesses or fundraising with friends, have all helped to play an important part in who I’ve become today. Help a Child Have a Chance is a Sheffield charity supporting unwell, underprivileged and needy children giving them that chance to make their lives that little bit more comfortable and better. I first came across Help A Child via one of my Social Media networks and heard about the Black Tie and Black Jack Charity event at Sheffield’s Gentings Casino later this month, aiming to raise lots of money for the inspiring charity.
We can always do our bit to make a difference for our local charities – and this could simply involve helping to spread awareness about the important work of them (afterall, they do say, every little helps! :) On a final note, instead of complaining how you have no one to buy a Valentine’s Day gift for, why not donate to a charity & give back to your community!…..
Have a deliciously good weekend everyone. I will be back here again tomorrow! – Cindz x
I've just donated to @HelpAChildSY. Every child deserves a chance to a positive start in life. http://t.co/ouOBxnAaQN #HelpAChildHaveAChance
