National Cake Week 2013

tiny bits of sweetness... National Cake Week 2013

Monday 7th – 13th October 2013 is National Cake Week – you know what that means…

A whole week of celebrating all things cake, baked and butter cream related. My favourite are cakes that can be sliced & shared with friends. Moist, beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside – layers of sweet happiness.

For National Cake Week, I’m going to make it my aim to discover new cake shops and bakeries near the office studio in central London (W1). London is brimming with delightful cake shops – so what’s better than trying and discovering new cakeries than for National Cake Week! (the perfect reason to eat beautiful cakes). For the week, I’ll be on the search to find who makes the tastiest & most luxurious continental breads, cakes, savouries & pastries – I won’t know if I don’t try, right? and I’ll be sharing my lunchtime discoveries with you all on this blog and Instagram.

No matter how old I get, cake still makes me really happy, too. And, I love the love that goes behind making a cake for other people/customers. However you celebrate National Cake Week – it’s important to fill up on (sweet) goodness daily! – Missie Cindz :)
