The Pudding Club Menu
17 September 2011
Sweet-toothed Sheffielders are in for a treat at the Rutland Arms today.
Finally, we can reveal the five puddings we’ll be serving today to the lucky 20 attendees at
#MissiesPuddingClub from 4pm – 6pm TODAY. You can download this full Puddings menu for your reference and safe-keeps. I hope attendees will enjoy this line-up of treats I have planned for them, look out for all the photos and tweets from us later today too (just make sure you’ve eaten before reading :) – hopefully there will be lots of LIVE tweets from everyone. Have you read and seen the Twitter Competition we have for you all today? See: Rutland Arms Twitter Competition to WIN a FREE lunch and drink at the Rutland Arms.
If today’s pudding attendees can finish all five servings plus extras too, I will be seriously impressed!! (and I think they deserve a hi-five for that).
What is Missie’s Pudding Club?
For those who aren’t too sure what Missie’s (Cindy’s) Pudding Clubs are. Missie Cindz Pudding Club serves up a five-course pudding set menu, with a different theme for each event. This time round the theme is ‘favourites’. Clubs are seasonal events I curate to bring back the wholesome ‘Pudding/dessert’ – I liked the idea of a Pudding Club because it’s socially fun and you can chat to people over mouthfuls of sweet goodness – I love all things sweetly made in Sheffield anyway.
Each event showcases at least one Pudding that is deliciously made by a Sheffield food-related business or artisan baker. Our first Pudding Club today features Sheffield’s PJ taste, Cat Lane Bakery and the Rutland Arms head-chef, Chef Ricko plus two made by Pudding Loving attendees, Kayleigh Degg and Annie Parmee :) A big thank you to our star guest Pudding makers for today’s treats.
There are only 20 places available at each Pudding Club event so please book early. Purchase tickets from the Rutland Arms bar, the event venue (Brown Street, Sheffield) or send Cindy Cheung, the event organiser (and Pud Lover), an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org to book your spoon. I’m sorry to those who weren’t able to purchase tickets for today’s event (spoons all went in three days!) I’ll be planning the Chrimbo
#MissiesPuddingClub shortly after this one so please do make sure you book early, we’d hate you to miss out on the fun.
Today’s attendees will also have first dabs on my new line of “limited edition” Vintage Preserves: Sheffield Plum Jam made by PJ taste – there will be free samples for everyone to try served on Cat Lane Bakery fruit scones and breads. I hope pudding attendees enjoy Vintage Preserves – please let me know your thoughts and comments below (in the comments box so that people can follow our conversation and create a ‘jamming’ conversation :).
My sugar levels are going to spiked today I can just tell!
