28 Days of Kindness (Day 9)

28 Days of Kindness – Day 928 Days of Kindness – Day 9Sheffield Cutler’s Challenge 2014
I’ve just teamed up with the lovely people at Endcliffe Park Cafe and Ashley to sign up for this year’s Sheffield Master Cutler’s Challenge. We’ve been busy plotting some delicious fundraising ideas, helping to raise money for TWO fantastic Sheffield charities, Whirlow Hall Farm Trust and Sheffield Hospital Charity, and it’s going to be EPIC!! The Challenge will see us using our own business, entrepreneurial and fundraising (and my creative) skills to turn £100 into as much money as possible over a six month period.

I hope you’ll all get involved to help spread the message with us too. I signed up for the challenge because it seemed like a perfect way to get other Sheffield locals involved with local fundraising in a fun way – afterall it’s great to support and give back to the local community whenever we can. I’ve also enjoyed collaborating with the people at Endcliffe Park Cafe – I had my stationery launch here a couple of years ago and we did some fundraising at Christmas for HARC – which was EPIC! We’re still whittling down our ideas at the moment and will be letting you know what we plan to do very soon. Do you fancy joining the EPIC fundraising team, too? Please show your interest by dropping me an email, facebook message or tweet. It would be great to meet & cook up something together.

To take part visit www.mastercutlerschallenge2014.co.uk, or email info@mastercutlerschallenge2014.co.uk. The challenge is being officially launched on Thursday 13 February at the Cutlers Hall. I won’t be able to make it to the launch due to my London commitments this week but Ashley will be flying the flag for team EPIC and charming other teams. Wishing all the other teams taking part the best of luck and let’s all work together to do our best to raise as much money as we can!

Bring on the Challenge – we’re really looking forward to getting started!! – Cindz x
