A Place of Memory

When I was a kid my dad would take me to his favourite quaint coffee shop for a cuppa and fruit scone in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The amusing time that we passed there was unforgettable – I shared conversations with him about Uni stuff, and eventually my work and career; dad would share with me stories that I thought I’d only get to hear and read from encyclopedias and he would give me advice to be a better person.

It’s times like those that left indelible marks in my mind, and is why on a super sunny day like today when I WISHED he was down here in London with me so that I could take him to my favourite coffee shops for a cuppa and sticky cinnamon bun. Spending time with my dad in coffee shops is in my memory as the most favourite place I visited during my childhood and that’s probably why I spend most of my time in one, when I’m not working in the studio.

What’s your favourite place from your childhood that you remember fondly?

I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend with someone very special ~ Cindz
