28 Days of Kindness (Day 3)

On Saturday 1st February, I went to the local fair and picked up 28 uncoloured balloons, each balloon represents a day in February, each kind act I put to action will see the balloon fill up with colour! Fill up your day with some kindness and see what happens!…..

There was no better way to start a (bright) new week than with a coffee date in Soho with friends….. A friend bought me lunch ~ thank you Felicia (twitter: @The_CheeksterX) and Damson & Co for a brilliant lunch. From the photo above, I’m hungry, as you can see _ what was it that I had I hear toy ask? this was called a ‘Damson muffin’ – a well-stacked tower of an eggy ‘spicy’ baked omelette with baked beans, chives, cheese & tasty BBQ sauce, all neatly held within a toasted muffin! Today reminded me of the nice people (in the world), and the kindnesses that do come our way…

Damson & Co is a charming and fashionable little cafe/deli, conveniently located in the heart of Soho, and with an imaginative food menu involving cured meats, hot & cold food and freshly made cakes, served with cups of joy (coffee) and a laid back vibe (give me a pillow and I could easily cat nap here), it’s definitely worth a visit. The next time I walk past this place, I’m making sure I stop for a plateful of their own made petite madeleines with chocolate dipping sauce.
