My favourite edible things
16 August 2011
My aim in life: it’s simple. To be relentlessly well fed and to design continuous tasteful things that has a positive nourishing impact on others – fairly cheesy, huh??? BUT it’s true!….
Often I get people asking me “What’s your favourite Sheffield restaurant Cindz?”, “Who’s your fave food producer or celebrity chef?”, or even “Do you have an ultimate cake you’d love to take on holiday with?” (yes, really, no joke! :) Well, I don’t have one favourite of any edibile treats (to name just the one would be a sin!).
I’m constantly spoilt for food choice. Whether I’m in dining in Sheffield, abroad or anywhere in the world – food has a great great impact in connecting with people, who doesn’t love to talk about edible delights? – I love to food share and it’s become a real passionate hobby of mine. It makes me feel relaxed and I even make myself hungry from my own Blog articles and food photos! Eating is a comforting activity, and it’s difficult to feel relaxed, let alone comfortable whilst working as a full-time ‘On-the-Go’ Graphic Designer (which makes eating the right kind of foods, especially the kind that makes me happy, even more so important!).
Thank you Sheffield and to those tasty food producers I’ve had the chance to meet and bring some ‘PURPLE’ colour their way…My food adventures continues and I will share with others my rays of delicious experiences whenever I can. Currently, I’m super duper busy with serious ‘work’ stuff (hence Blog posts haven’t been updated as regularly as they used to be – sorry) but I assure you when I can update and waffle on, I will do. I’m really looking forward to meeting and trying more new great food produce.
Looking forward to meeting a lot of you at Missie’s Pudding Club next month, I can’t wait. Bring on the spoon and let’s surf the custard! – Cindy/Missie :) x
