“Support your Independents or you’ll get the Clone Town you deserve… This City is what it is because our citizens are what they are.” ~ Plato
A meaningful and very true quote (this quote was tweeted by @spittingcat)
‘Good Food’ are about people, the ones who cooks it, the suppliers who help them and the communities they serve. Then the affects this food has on the people who eats it. Food can find itself at the heart of various groups/institutions and differing communities who eat it. The love and support from local suppliers, food producers, farmers, restaurants, cafes, businesses, food reviewers/bloggers, friends from across Sheffield, social/media and many more is what makes the ‘Sheffield eating experience’ thriving and plays a vital role to pumping everything that happens here.
Currently, I’m having a very tasty time on my Missie Cindz Food Adventures – gallivanting up and down Sheffield with my fork is proving a delicious experience! Just take a look at my pictures above – the photo album’s growing larger on a daily basis and perhaps one day I’ll share this album with Sheffielders? (also on an important note, some time very soon, these colourful dresses I wear, will need to go a next size up! and I’m hoping the local restaurant/pub will contribute in treating me to a new frock, afterall I do help them out so much!! :)
It seems our Missie’s enjoying her outings in Sheffield alot! (sometimes, FAR TOO much! :)
Find more Missie’s food tweets at #missiesfoodadventures or follow my food and design related tweetings at @missiecindz. Keep an eye out for your Missie and if you do see her in your local cafe/restaurant, quickly tweet/email a picture of her and let me know where she is (Missie’s really good at playing Foody Hide and Seek).
