Blog North Food Glorious Food 2013

09 April 2013

Blog North’s Food Glorious Food, Leeds

I’ve been invited to speak alongside an army of creative and delicious food-related superheroes at this weekend’s Blog North’s Food Glorious Food event in one of the coolest creative hubs in Leeds, Duke Studios.

Learn to start or grow a delicious community
I will be sharing with you (guests) my creative food journey and how my passion for local ‘community‘ food from my home city ~ Sheffield came about. Aiming to show how you can express your love of food to grow online and offline communities with a creative use of social media, events and charming collaborations. Showing examples of how blogging fused with my creative skills as a trained graphic designer has been a passport to lots of amazing new things, including how to build links and relationships with businesses and brands.

With over 6000 food discovering photographs shared via social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, twitter and this blog ~ Readers and followers engagement, tweets and enthusiasm with what I do are what keeps me feeling on cloud nine! – building my confidence daily and encouraging me to cook up more whole(awe)some stuff!

I hope my journey proves inspiring and useful to attendees this Saturday. Tip: bring a notebook to write down everything you learn, arrive hungry (I’ve heard the menu’s pretty good!) and do ask us lots of questions!

For more information, updates and if you’re interested in joining ~ tickets can be purchased via this link. Blog North is a collaborative project that’s brought to you by The Culture Vulture, the Blog North Awards and Creative Tourist ~ see you all Saturday! – Missie Cindz
