Looking forward to visiting and meeting the enthusiastic @PJEA_sheffield students

Most of this week I’ve been busy presentation prepping for my talk and meeting with enthusiastic business students at Sheffield’s Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA) tomorrow. I’m almost done now – I might do a quick rehearsal, I’ve never done public speaking before so am a little nervous but excited too – does speaking in a room full of pudding enthusiasts at Missie’s Pud Inn count?

I’ll be going through with them how my role as a Graphic Designer facilitates a business’ activity; how I apply my skills and expertise in branding, packaging and print design helps to shape and communicate a visual language to the customer/end user – touching on key areas such as the importance of branding, marketing and packaging. It’s going to be quite a straight forward and informal presentation, and I hope the students find what I have to share with them interesting and useful.

Looking forward to supporting young enterprise; afterall who else is going to inspire the entrepreneurs of tomorrow? – will let you know how I get on.
